Tron has been one of the most talked-about companies within the crypto circles of late, and it’s not for nothing. Justin’s company has been at the forefront in developing blockchain-based tech platforms aimed at availing an efficient environment for the creation of dApps and such stuff. Tron is now in the news again, having recently launched its new BitTorrent (BTT) token that has since been listed on exchanges.
In fact, in early January, Binance, OKex, and other popular crypto exchanges announced that they would be supporting the token on their trading platforms. BTT’s launch has been largely a success. The ICO sold out $7 million within 15 minutes of its launch. Now that the token has gone live, the crypto landscape is beginning to feel the impact. The most notable development in regard to BTT is happening on Binance.
Highest Volume
According to a tweet by one Misha Lederman, the BTT token is now recording the highest daily trading volume on Binance, and that’s merely two days after its launch. The token is trading against various Non-TRX pairs. The recorded trading volume stands at $81 million (23,555 BTC). What’s even more eye-catching is that this figure is a whole 62 BTC more than that of the next 4 trading cryptos combines – that’s ETH, XRP, BNB, and TRX.
As a matter of fact, there have been rumors that crypto traders are dumping other altcoins for BTT. This is mainly due to the recent announcement by Binance to support the token, and a lot of observers have taken that to mean that the token’s value is anticipated to rise.
Reactions
Misha’s tweet has since received various diverse reactions, with the most of them in agreement with his observation. One Twitter user expressed his optimism in the future of Tron, calling it the best blockchain network currently in existence. However, he seemed a little wary of the long wait for significant growth in terms of token investments but nevertheless praised the company for showcasing some of the best blockchain projects in the market.

In a parting shot, Misha’s tweet reminded about the upcoming BTT airdrop slated for February 11. Only TRX holders will be eligible for the BTT airdrop.
