The Digital Entertainment Asset Pte.LTD (DEA) has announced that its native cryptocurrency, DEAPcoin, which is used in its entertainment platform, PlayMining will go live on the OKEx crypto exchange on April 8, 2020.
What is PlayMining
PlayMining is an innovative entertainment platform where users can buy and trade items including virtual cards used in gaming ecosystems such as JobTribes. As stated earlier, DEP is the native currency of the Playmining platform and it can be earned by playing the site’s games, reading comics and more, on the platform.
Importantly, DEA has announced the hiring of Shiina Shigeru, and Yoshida Noahito as CEO of its platform.
Mr Shiina Shigeru is a former president of PwC Japan and vice president of KPMG Consulting and he has also previously joined DEA’s business team.
Mr Shiina Shigeru and Naohito, who’s a successful entrepreneur with three successful firms in Japan, will both function as heads of DEA and would join forces to forge a strong business system.
Notably, Shiina studied AI technology in the NEC Central Research Institute and published numerous papers, and also obtained a number of successful franchises, before venturing into consultancy.
Shina Shigeru said:

On the other hand, Yoshida Naohito formerly functioned as a magazine editor before creating his animation game firm, GLAMS at the age of 28. He also created three different establishments in different industries including human resources, content industry and advertising industry.
JobTribes game to Launch
PlayMining plans to launch the JobTribes blockchain-based card collecting battle fantasy game in closed beta at the end of March. The firm will give priority to users who register for a membership from the game’s official website.
Interested players who participate in the game’s closed beta test will be rewarded with DEAPcoin or game cards, for their efforts towards facilitating a frictionless gaming experience for everyone.
