To further the adoption of blockchain gaming, the team behind the player-driven play-to-earn RPG game, ChainGuardians, is launching a new metaverse known as Cryptoverse. This is a 3-dimensional virtual world where businesses and players will be brought together to benefit mutually.
The virtual world was built using one of the most advanced game engines known as Unreal Engine 5, a game engine that is bordering on true photo-realism. It will feature its unique social mechanics including different social layers, gamification mechanics, as well as assets that can be owned by players: avatars, vehicles, buildings, land plots, all of which will be powered by interoperable NFTs.

“The Cryptoverse is an immersive 3D virtual world built in Unreal 5 which is underpinned by blockchain technology. Within the Cryptoverse, users will be empowered to create, own LAND, govern and monetize experiences using CGG, the token which also underpins the ChainGuardians and ChainBoost ecosystem.”
Components of the Cryptoverse
The Cryptoverse will be made up of an archipelago of eight islands. Each of the islands will represent a different zone, each of which has its own unique aesthetics built to suit the members of its community. Players and occupants of such zones can however customize them to their taste, making it evolve.
Among the zones is a gathering place for all occupants of the Cryptoverse known as the Hub. The Hub is located in the center of the metaverse, designed with a cyberpunk theme and a unique, neon-infused, and fluid environment.
Other features will include VR, AR, and XR experiences powered by the latest technology and the top cinematic artists from word-class studios. Builders will have access to advanced Dual Architecture SDKs to implement their animations and effects. They will also be able to customize the in-game world with both no-code tools and an advanced modding SDK for the technically-savvy community.
The native token or NFT which represents provable ownership of virtual space, LAND, will be used to power the Cryptoverse. Through NFT sharding and combination capabilities, each LAND will offer maximum flexibility and unique social engagement opportunities like the Prana system (a karma-based reputation system) and LAND clearing incentives.

The token launch is coming up soon with a pre-sale inside The Hub and other zones. Buyers will enjoy a 10% discount for buying from partner launchpads and NFT marketplaces. However, the metaverse will be governed by the CGG token used on ChainGuardians, giving continuity to the two ecosystems.
