The service is immediately available to both iOS and Android users with the Coinbase wallet app. For Dogecoin users who do not already have the Coinbase wallet, it can be easily installed from Google Play Store for Android and the Apple App Store for iOS users. The wallet also supports the DOGE Testnet as a perk for developers using the wallet as well as for power users.

Coinbase already supports a myriad of other cryptocurrencies including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum Classic, XRP, Stellar Lumens, and over 100,000 different ERC20 tokens and ERC721 collectibles built on Ethereum.

Its goal is to add support for as many digital assets as possible and make purchases, storage and transfer of cryptocurrencies as seamless and secure as possible. Adding Dogecoin to its long list of supported assets is another step towards achieving this goal.

More assets are to be added as time goes on and as Coinbase users recommend as most supported digital assets were added based on users’ recommendations.
