The biggest bitcoin wallet provider Blockchain has just added Ethereum to its wallet services.
The wallet provider for bitcoin heeded to the plea of its users to add Ethereum to its wallet services and now users can now send and receive Ethereum in the blockchain wallet though still in BETA mode.
And not only that, but Blockchain also partnered with ShapeShift to make it extra easier for users of the wallet to easily exchange between ethereum to bitcoin and bitcoin to ethereum in real time without having to start sending to exchanges just to exchange your coins:).
Peter Smith the CEO said….
“As popularity of ethereum has grown, so has the desire from our customers to have the option to manage multiple digital assets within their blockchain wallets. We are thrilled to introduce this new functionality to our community and will continue to find ways to make interacting with digital assets even easier.”
This is a good move for the blockchain industry and for Ethereum as well, Ethereum has been following bitcoin for some time now, and we might see it getting to greater heights soon.
