Veloce, a London-based digital racing media network, is elated to announce the launch of its native token VEXT, opening its ecosystem to the Web3 space.

According to the Veloce team, VEXT is a blockchain utility and a governance token created in partnership with MDRxTech, who have experience in tech development and Web3 strategy.

VEXT is the token that will fuel the biggest digital racing media network. VEXT was created to give the Veloce community the power to govern and influence key decentralized Veloce assets. The VEXT tokens allow the project to reward its dedicated members while offering a vast range of utility through group assets across racing and gaming.

Token holders will influence the direction of assets within the ecosystem, including selecting talent, teams, content and leagues. VEXT holders will also receive exclusive access to Veloce events, products, and other additional perks.

Commenting on the launch, Rupert Svendsen-Cook, Co-Founder and CEO at Veloce, stated:

“This is the most exciting thing we have ever done. As a business, we have the two key ingredients for Web3: a globally engaged community and an incredible amount of utility. Our ultimate ambition is to become the first truly decentralized global sporting group.”

Launched in  2018, the company started as Veloce Sports, a sports management agency focusing solely on racing. Veloce seeks to empower and fuel the next generation of sports and new media. Since then, Veloce has become a gaming organization and a leading media group of brands within the esports and gaming industries. Veloce has over 35 million subscribers recording about 1 billion views per month.

The current Veloce ecosystem brands consist of esports, industry-leading gaming and racing platforms, Veloce Esports and racing winning outfits and a renowned extreme E championship. Over the years, the company has worked with many influential names in the gaming and racing space, including Yas Heat, Ferrari Mclaren and Mercedes AMG.

In the coming days, Veloce plans to integrate a VEXT store and form many strategic partnerships to implement other utilities to onboard users while rewarding early adopters. Early investors can join the project ahead of the upcoming public pre-sale.
