Austin Petersen one of the candidates currently contesting for the senatorial US presidency is now accepting bitcoins for the election campaign donations, Petersen tweeted the post on his twitter account and a link to his bitpay donation page…

Austin is an American writer, producer and political activist ,he was one of the Libertarian Party’s nomination for President of the United States in 2016, coming at the second place to former governor Gary Johnson with 21% of the vote.
As we can see now Petersen does not seem to be strict on cryptocurrencies, for him to be accepting bitcoin as he will not impose strict regulations on bitcoin if the power to do so comes to him and he also proves to be bitcoin friendly.
