A few weeks after Zebec, the first continuous and programmable cash stream protocol on Solana conducted its first global hackathon that saw participation from over 250 projects, the protocol has finally announced the winners of the event according to a recent press release.
The Zebec’s 2021 hackathon was held with support from the Solana foundation. It required participants to initiate new ways in which digital investments, payments, subscriptions, and the likes can be transformed.
After proper evaluation, Zebec has selected 5 projects out of more than 250 participating projects as winners. These winners are thereby offered the opportunity to participate in the Zebec Launchpad program to further manage and scale applications while utilizing the company’s innovative payment technology.
This automatically offers the lucky winners financial and development support to further scale and implement their ideas.
Zebec to Enhance the Global Payment Network
Zebec is basically focused on revolutionizing digital payments, hence facilitating real-time and continuous streams of payments and financial transactions. Zebec seeks to enhance easier and faster payment for day-to-day transactions while allowing users to easily control and manage their wealth.
It recently integrated with Visa to bring continuous money streams to the global payment network, hence becoming the first Solana-based project accepted to Visa’s prestigious FinTech Fast Track program.
Although Zebec was launched a few months ago, the protocol has deployed necessary mechanisms with the potential of revolutionizing the traditional financial settlement systems that delay transaction processes, require third parties who charge fees, and also move money on a one-time basis. Its money streaming operations can be started immediately and they can be programmed according to the desire of the user.
The founder of Zebec, Sam Thapaliya, commented on the announcement saying;
