Inception & Prototype
Since March 2021, our project genesis, game plot design, and economy design, our team has tirelessly done many prototypes and case studies to start and build for the future of the Gamefi industry. The most important advantage of a prototype is that it simulates the future product. It can help attract users before allocating any resources needed for implementation. You can test the design correctness before it comes into production to discover design errors.
While PlaceWar officially launched last September 2021, all the planning and conceptualizations started much earlier than many months back. Since launching, PlaceWar has grown very rapidly and achieved all our planned milestones. In summary, our evolutionary timeline of milestones can be classified into 10 significant events below:

Introduction of PlaceWar to public Community
In September 2021, we launched our community campaign and started building our Placedonian community. Placedonia is the pseudonym we have created for our PlaceWar Community. With just a humble beginning of a few early communities, today, we have grown by the hundreds of thousands. As of December 2021, our community numbers have surpassed 100,000 followers on Twitter and our Telegram group has surpassed 94,000 active members.
Our successful community reaches out has also seen us being featured in many credible media such as Cointelegraph, Bloomberg, Nasdaq, Asia Token Fund News, and hundreds over media channels. This further adds to the brand awareness and community growth of PlaceWar.
Start-up Fundraising Efforts
In October 2021, PlaceWar started its fundraising effort to help launch the much-awaited GameFi. We have gone through three rounds of funding namely Seed Funding, Private Funding, and Public sale via IDO and IGO.
By late October 2021, we have completed our Seed Round and Private Round through many established Venture Capitals within the blockchain and GameFi ecosystem. This exercise saw us successfully raising over $2.4 Million.
Our Seed Round saw an impressive investor portfolio by LD Capital, a leading blockchain investment venture capital, and also Crypto.com, the world’s leading crypto exchange.
Other investors in our Private Rounds include AC Capital, AU21, Woodson Game, Exnetwork Capital, Ice tea Labs, IoTex, Kyros Ventures, LD Capital, Lucid Blue Ventures, Megala Ventures, Metrix Capital, ReBlock, RoseOn, X21, and many more top blockchain investors.
Public Sale & Exchange Listing
Our successful seed and successful seed and private funding round, PlaceWar went on to complete an oversubscribed Initial Dex Offering (IDO) which took place on RedKite and GameFi launchpads.
We also move on to officially launch our Initial Exchange Offering (IEO) on Gate.io which saw a sold-out offering within minutes. In total, we have raised a total of USD 2.4 million in funding.
As of December 2021, PlaceWar utility token $PLACE is currently listed on Pancakeswap, Gate.io, Hoo, Hotbit, and ZT Exchange.
Playable Demo Beta Launch
In late November, we have successfully launched the test-net version of our PlaceWar Gameplay. The playable game demo launched featured PVE Skirmish, Crafting & Adventure mode is has been made available for PC and Android-Google Play Store via APK along with rewarding users 50 genesis NFT tanks with a $1000 prize pool giveaway.
The launch of the playable demo game-play saw an incredible 57,000 player sign-ups, download, and playing the game demo all within a matter of few days. This enthusiasm from the community gave us more encouragement to push through our upcoming roadmaps to meet the growing demands of our community.
Strategic Partnership & Guilds Program
In developing our community and user acquisition activities, PlaceWar has also formed various strategic partnerships with several prominent organizations within the GameFi and blockchain industry such as IOTEX, world champion (WCS) Shin “Hydra” Dong Won of Starcraft, Terabyte Capital, and many others.
This strategic partnership is more than just funding support but comes in much more valuable resources such as community building, user acquisition, exchange listing of $PLACE tokens, and other forms of resources. It played a significant role in the success of PlaceWar.
Recently, we have also started to launch our Guilds program to attract gamers alliance to directly engage in the PlaceWar team. Our Guilds get the opportunity to get involved, make a difference, set the trend, and change the world by setting up our international base camps!

The Guilds program has since grown rapidly as we saw more than 30+ applications awaiting to be whitelisted. Application for Guilds is still ongoing via the website.
Three-Star General Trainer Program
Following the Guild Program, we have also launched the Three Star *** General Trainer Program which aims to build a community of Game Leaders to help new players be familiar or get acquainted with PlaceWar game-play. This program takes the initiative to attract Local Guild Promoters, Community Leaders, Blockchain Industry Experts, and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to join the global basecamps of PlaceWar’s mission and become the cornerstone for worldwide expansion.
Through this effort, we are poised to onboard more users and games from all over the world.
What is yet to come?
In the upcoming weeks to come, we will be deploying various activities such as NFT Sales. Marketplace Deployment, Mainnet Launch, and many more. The first NFT sales will take place on the 13th December 2021 with a total of 13,499 NFT Tanks to be sold through a Squadron Pack and Battalion Pack. Successful NFT purchasers will mint their tanks through our PlaceWar marketplace and be ready to join the epic battles upon the launch of PlaceWar V1.
