A unique partnership between McLaren Racing and OKX, a renowned Web3 technology company and Official Primary Partner of the McLaren Formula 1 Team, has seen today the unveiling of a limited edition “Stealth Mode” livery design.

According to an official announcement today, this unique design has been released to adorn the McLaren MCL60 F1 cars during the upcoming 2023 Singapore Grand Prix (15-17 September) and the 2023 Japanese Grand Prix (22-24 September).

The “Stealth Mode” livery represents a dynamic blend of McLaren’s racing heritage and OKX’s commitment to innovation in the Web3 world. This co-designed livery introduces a striking black color scheme alongside McLaren’s iconic papaya trim. The combination symbolizes both brands’ dedication to excellence, hard work, and shared enthusiasm for embracing change and innovation.

Zak Brown, CEO of McLaren Racing, expressed his excitement about the collaborative effort, saying, “Our partnership with OKX goes from strength to strength, and it’s fantastic to celebrate it with this incredible livery. Stealth Mode flips our race car’s colors, bringing something exciting and different to these two great races in Singapore and Japan. We hope fans will love it as much as we do and get a chance to enjoy the fan zone to connect with our team.”

Notably, the eagerly anticipated McLaren MCL60 in its “Stealth Mode” guise was revealed on Wednesday, 13th September, at a media event held in Singapore at the Lantern, Fullerton Bay Hotel. The event was graced by luminaries such as OKX Chief Marketing Officer Haider Rafique, McLaren F1 Team drivers Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri, and McLaren Racing Executive Director, Partnerships & Accelerator Matt Dennington.
