Golden Ark, a team of California’s leading blockchain developers, is creating a metaverse that brings everything to its community, ranging from social networking to social gaming. The project is launching the Alpha version of its metaverse platform on 4/20 (420) which targets the crypto community.
The project will among other things bring activities such as “finding different dispensaries in Ark City, and obtaining wearable 420-related items, such as t-shirts and accessories from Golden Ark Stores, growing digital plants and exchanging them for real products in Seed Horizons, members have much to look forward to within the community.”
Users who access the metaverse enter into “The Ark Tree” which holds all spaces that they can access. They can then teleport to Ark City, an urban landscape that is also the capital city of the Ark metaverse. Another area is the Seed Horizon which is a universe where they can cultivate and monetize their virtual farms.
Others are the lounge zone, which is a social center where users can meet and “socialize, smoke, or show off their latest NFTs.” While in the lounge area, residents can play the exciting arcade game Skunktastic Voyage on an Arcade machine. The game has a play-to-earn and burning mechanism that rewards players with tokens they can redeem at the Golden Ark Stores.
There are many opportunities for users to earn token rewards as they explore and play in the Ark metaverse. They can redeem such tokens at the Golden Ark Store for merchandise including “NFTs for user avatars, collectibles, and seeds for user-managed farms, as well as actual products that can be shipped.”
The Golden Ark seeks to be the global metaverse hub for cryptocurrency enthusiasts where they can navigate through the different worlds and earn rewards in the process. The team seeks to bring the crypto community into another world, the metaverse. The metaverse combines the interests of “billions of crypto enthusiasts, social media users, and online gamers throughout the world” to bridge the gap between the real and virtual world.
