ClearDAO has announced its first public alpha testing barrier option marketplace on Arbitrum. This testnet is aimed to commence on the 13th of December 2021. ClearDAO is a platform that Creates and launches derivative trading platforms using the Clear SDK. Consequently, the barrier option marketplace on Arbitrum is the first proof-of-concept marketplace built using the Clear SDK.
The Clear SDK is the flagship of the clear products. ClearDAO aims to create a DeFi derivative ecosystem where Clear SDK developers from all over the world can easily launch decentralized exchanges offering unique derivative products. Being a DeFi derivative, it also targets multiple blockchain ecosystems and is aiming at being deployed on Solana and other layer 1 and 2 solutions in the nearest future.
This deployment on Arbitrum testnet comes after the deployment on Binance Smart Chain (BSC) testnet about two weeks ago. The marketplace on Arbitrum testnet offers options on BTC, ETH, and many other cryptocurrencies.
As compared to standard vanilla options available on other platforms, ClearDAO offers unique barrier knockout options. Its marketplace also has an easy-to-navigate user interface that shows a 4 by 4 matrix level of maturity (1day, 3days, 7days, and 14days) and different barrier levels as well (5%, 7.5%, 10%, 15%). It also offers different risk profiles and expected returns to its traders. Traders can also trade both calls and puts to enhance returns and manage the risks of their existing portfolios.
ClearDAO also offers the role of market makers and liquidity providers to its participants which include individuals and institutions. This it does by providing automated market-making algorithms that are deployed in the marketplace to allow anyone to participate as a liquidity provider and a liquidity taker. The governance aspect of the ClearDAO ecosystem and marketplace mainnet is expected to emerge in Q1 2022. This will further allow Community members to collectively decide the developmental path of the project.
ClearDAO recently closed a $2.5 million private round of fundraising. According to the project roadmap, the Clear SDK will be available in Q4 of 2021 as well as the Solana devnet deployment. All this is in line as the project aims at creating a DeFi derivative ecosystem where Clear SDK developers from all over the world can easily launch decentralized exchanges offering unique derivative products.
