Polygon (MATIC) Whales Go Bearish Over Ecosystem Uncertainty

According to on-chain data, Polygon (MATIC) whales sold off 23 million Polygon (MATIC) tokens between July 18 and July 27, 2023. These withdrawals by Polygon (MATIC) whales are worth approximately $17 million, and analysts believe they are responsible for the price dip in Polygon (MATIC).

Experts say the sell-off was triggered by Polygon’s recent proposal to change its native token from MATIC to POL.

After Polygon (MATIC) announced plans to migrate its native token on July 13, Polygon (MATIC) entered a bearish trajectory. According to Polygon (MATIC) developers, this token upgrade will give the blockchain a more robust functioning capacity, greater security, and improved speed.

However, holders are always skeptical about change, and Polygon (MATIC) whales are no different. Polygon (MATIC) is trading for $0.712 after losing 5.11% in the last seven days.

Cardano (ADA) Ranges After Mithril Launch

Cardano (ADA) recently launched its much-anticipated stake-based signature protocol on mainnet beta. Mithril has been in development for almost a year, and its launch marked a significant milestone for the Cardano (ADA) network.

According to experts, Mithril will help optimize Cardano (ADA) synchronization and allow for increased network participation. Also, Cardano (ADA) launched node v.8.1.2, and experts say this minor release of the Cardano (ADA) node will bring updates to the Plutus interpreter.

Despite all these ecosystem achievements, Cardano (ADA) didn’t record any significant price surge in the last week of July 2023. Cardano (ADA) traded between $0.3009 and $0.3183. Cardano (ADA) is currently trading at $0.3141, and analysts agree that Borroe ($ROE) has higher growth potential in Q3 2023.
