Babylon Gallery to Host Exclusive NFT Exhibition in NYC Featuring Prominent Traditional Artists

Babylon Gallery, a Web3 gallery specializing in primary sales of NFT editions, is set to host an exclusive exhibition in New York City titled “BabylonBabylon x NYC” on April 12-13, 2023.

Babylon Gallery is a passion project of founder Shahbazyan, considered one of the largest and most followed independent NFT collectors, with a collection estimated at around 4,000 ETH, featuring rare and valuable pieces.

Babylon x NYC NFT Exhibition

The company announced via a recent press release that the exhibition will showcase over 100 physical and digital artworks, including works by the gallery’s 30 Founding Artists renowned for their impact on the NFT art space.

One of the exhibition’s highlights will be the debut drop on Ethereum by prominent Armenian artist Tigran Tsitoghdzyan, whose works will be exclusively hosted on Babylon. Additionally, for the first time on public display, Babylon founder Paruyr Shahbazyan’s collection will be featured at the exhibition.

The Founding Artists of Babylon Gallery include well-known creators such as Rik Oostenbroek, who has worked with major brands like Mercedes-Benz, Apple, and Nike in his 20-year career; Archan Nair, whose works have been featured in Rolling Stone and Vogue; and Terrell Jones, whose gangster film-inspired pieces have been auctioned at Sotheby’s.

According to the announcement, the team and Founding Artists will be at the exhibition’s opening night on April 12 to showcase the new NFT platform, which aims to become the home of NFT Editions. The exhibition will then be open to the public on April 13.
