The Asia Blockchain Summit (ABS) 2024 promises to be a blast. Over 15,000 attendees are expected at the event, scheduled for August 6th at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center in Taiwan.

ABS has marked historic moments in the development of the blockchain industry, and this year’s event isn’t going to be any different. This year’s event, which will cover blockchain, AI, and future governance, is being held in Taiwan owing to the country’s positioning as the center for the AI and computing revolution.

Others are Samson Mow, CEO of JAN3; Scott Moore, co-founder of Gitcoin; Ray Chan, Founder of Memeland and 9GAG; Dr. Tomicah Tillemann, CEO of Project Liberty; David Yu, co-founder and CEO of VeVe; Abighya Anand, the world-renowned Vedic Astrologer; David Mak, CEO of Catizen; Jamie Lin, CEO at Taiwan Mobile and Partner at AppWorks; Claudia Lopez, Former Mayor of Bogotá. 

The summit will consist of other specialized summits to discuss key AI, blockchain, and sustainability issues. First, the Plurality Summit will take place on August 8th, and participants will discuss topics such as decentralized society, the ethics of digital democracy, and reimagining a future where power is distributed across a diverse collective.

Another summit is The Open Summit, which is sponsored by TONX and the TON Foundation. This will be the largest TON event in Asia and will include three days of workshops, talks, and activities dedicated to the Telegram ecosystem, which has 900 million users.

For those who are into games, the ABS2024 Game Zone powered by GEDA Esports and Matr1x Fire will be historic. It will feature high-profile Web3 games, live tournaments on a professional esports stage, and panel discussions by gaming industry leaders. More than 50 games will be explored, including a world-class tournament hosted by Matr1x Fire.
