It’s another time of the year for game developers to meet again as game developers worldwide are already seeking to flock to the Game Developers Conference (GDC) 2023 in San Francisco to witness a first-of-its-kind event on the gaming scene. The conference features an Oscars-style red carpet and stage, which has caught the attention of game developers and enthusiasts alike.

The stage in the Moscone South lobby is hosted by virtual influencer Babka, who is accompanied by her time-travelling companion, Nushi, the cat. Salvatore Salamone, a renowned Hollywood creature artist known for his work in The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance and Avengers: Endgame, has crafted a robotic version of Nushi for the event.

According to a recent announcement, the stage is set up to give game-makers of all sizes a chance to promote their games live on stage, via live streams, and on social media. The idea behind the event is to showcase the power of interactive technology and demonstrate how games can transcend the screen.

Babka and Nushi are meeting thousands of game developers at GDC 2023, eager to get the word out about their newest game releases and upcoming projects. The duo will be at the show until Friday, March 24, 2023.

The event has caused a buzz amongst the gaming community, and many eagerly anticipate the chance to promote their games on the stage. The GDC 2023 is predicted to end successfully, with attendees saying that the event has been a great platform to showcase their work and network with fellow game developers.
