The popular cryptocurrency analyst and CNBC host Ran NeuNer asked his nearly 100k Twitter followers which digital asset they’d invest in if given $50k. More than 20k respondents answered and Ripple’s XRP was the crypto of choice.
$50k in fiat – where would you put it?

He offered four choices to would-be investors. Bitcoin, ADA, XRP, and BNB. Binance’s coin BNB and Cardano’s native asset ADA were significantly behind the other two choices, coming in at 11% and 13% respectively. Bitcoin received the support of 31% of respondents, while XRP garnered 45% of the total vote.
XRP took the unscientific poll in a landslide. XRP is known to have a strong community of keyboard warriors (and in many cases ‘armies of bots’) that could throw poll numbers off.
However, it would be hard to deny the positive developments Ripple has been cranking out. Ripple has been forging working relationships with major financial institutions all over the world and even received praise from World Bank recently for its potential to make international payments easier and cheaper. With other altcoins taking off, it’s not hard to imagine an XRP run coming soon.
It’s a good sign for any cryptocurrency to be mentioned alongside BTC as a legitimate investment. Ran Neuner’s inclusion of ADA and BNB shows that these assets will reliably provide viable use cases into the future.
Binance is already proving itself to be a power player in the cryptocurrency world. Plus, BNB is becoming a more efficient and useful coin as Binance continues to roll out new features.
Fans of the multi-layered protocol Cardano should be excited to see ADA listed among assets with such huge potential for adoption. Cardano is considered by many experts to be one of the most ambitious projects in the space.
The scientific approach of the Cardano team puts them head and shoulder above most competitors and gives them a sizable advantage in terms of convincing skeptics that blockchain is the future.
Of course, the results of an Internet poll may be skewed by a number of different factors. But if you have invested in one of the coins listed by NueNer, you should consider it to be a good sign.
