Boba Network, an optimistic-based multichain layer 2 scaling solution, is excited to announce its partnership with Thrive Protocol to launch the Thrive Boba Ecosystem Grants.
The Thrive Boba program is an incentive to reward and empower promising individuals in the Boba community. Starting with Season 1, the grant will offer $200k in BOBA tokens to eligible projects participating in the program.
According to the team behind the project, all projects must demonstrate their contributions toward expanding the Boba ecosystem. Reportedly, the initiative began accepting applications on 8th October 2024, allowing individual and team projects to submit their applications.
The Thrive Boba ecosystem grant provides developers and users with the funding needed to get their projects up and running. All eligible projects will receive funding between $10k and $35k in BOBA tokens.
Notably, applicants must complete three milestone phases designed to test project eligibility. All projects receive 15% of their total grant for completing the first two phases. The remaining 70% of the grant funding will be received upon completing the final phase.
Commenting on the partnership, Alan Chiu, Co-founder of Boba Network, stated:

Since its launch, the Boba Network has helped users harness roll-up technology for better blockchain communication. By working with Thrive Protocol, both projects will provide funding to outstanding projects with promising potential within the Boba ecosystem. The program hopes this strategy creates value for the Boba community. Thrive Boba hopes to encourage and reward value creation within its community through the initiatives.
The application window closes on October 31, 2024, but all interested participants are welcome to submit their applications before then. The team behind the grant will notify the grant recipients on November 19, 2024. Projects must complete their proof of submission by February 25, 2025, before the end of Season 1 on February 27, 2025.
