Aura, a fully decentralized platform designed for testing, validating, and accessing on-chain AI models, announced it has secured up to $5.5 million in a seed funding round.

Led by Daxos Capital, Manifold Trading, and Selini Capital, the funding round saw participation from key industry leaders and Hermeneutic Investments. This signals surging interest among investors.

While this marks a notable milestone for the Aura ecosystem, the successful seed round will help the platform accelerate its technological roadmap while preparing for the next phase of its platform development.

Furthermore, this will also position Aura closer to achieving its mission to address critical challenges with the expanding on-chain AI industry, including fragmented model discovery, limited monetization opportunities, and complexity in model selection.

Following this development, Aura seeks to build the first-ever purpose-built on-chain AI model ecosystem based on discoverability, engagement, and decentralization principles.

Its platform will provide users with a comprehensive marketplace with real-time analytics and AI-driven personalized recommendations to discover and test on-chain AI models.

Furthermore, Aura will provide seamless validation of AI models to ensure their performance, robustness, and generalizability through popular techniques, such as data splitting, fairness evaluation, regression models, and more.

The platform will also feature a competitive landscape where AI models can showcase their innovations through live featured competitions and human vs. AI challenges. Aura’s design also allows it to enable model-to-model collaboration, fine-tuning, and community evaluation to foster collective intelligence and innovation.

While it has seen notable support from industry leaders during its seed round, the platform has disclosed its growing network of strategic partnerships, including OKX, with whom Aura has support for future partnership opportunities to co-host events.

Aura also revealed its partnership with leading on-chain AI platforms, including Virtual Protocol, ElizaOS, and GOAT.
